Safety: A Way of Life at Earth Tech
Safety is broadly used at Earth Tech to refer to the health and safety of our people and the protection of property and the environment. In offices and on job sites, we emphasize human safety because the impact of a single occupational injury or illness can go beyond the individual, touching the lives of clients and co-workers, families and friends. We stress safety to property and the environment because both are a big part of engineering and construction activity and a wrong move can impact a community for months or even years.
Our people and our environment matter to us. As we see it, this means there is no other way but to make safety excellence a vital focus of our operations. In our world, it is important that employees start and end each day secure in the knowledge that individual safety is a collective priority.
Our safety excellence goals are simple. Zero work-related injuries or illnesses. Zero damage to property and/or equipment from our activities. Zero releases to the environment from our ongoing projects. Our safety values reflect these goals.
Our Safety Core Values, Safety, Health & Environmental Policy, Safety Excellence Initiative and comprehensive programs provide the guiding principles to every Earth Tech professional around the world. These documents serve to both inform and guide our daily actions and decisions when it comes to the safety of any individuals involved in our business processes.
