EARTH TECH APPOINTS VP OF STRATEGIC SERVICES
Newest Environmental Area to Support Company’s Long-standing Practice
LONG BEACH, Calif. March 6, 2008 – Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd., and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has appointed Jim Weinbauer Vice President, Strategic Services Director.
In the newly created position, Jim will be responsible for the growth and development of Earth Tech’s Strategic Services offering, which includes the company’s rapidly expanding sustainable development consulting practice. Jim will be based in the company’s Stevens Point, WI, office and report to Dale Sands, Senior Vice President and Director of Earth Tech’s Environmental Business Line.
“Strategic Services is an exciting growth area and Jim’s expertise will enhance the capabilities we offer to clients,” Sands said. “Our clients seek guidance and assistance in the establishment of their sustainable development programs, including climate change management approaches; EHS program design; and benchmarking, evaluation and application of systems, as well as tools, to improve performance and meet business objectives.”
Jim joins Earth Tech from Stora Enso, a leading multinational firm in the pulp and paper sector, headquartered in London and domiciled in Helsinki, Finland. He has more than 30 years of experience in developing and implementing industry-leading environmental sustainability programs. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President and Director, Environment, he managed the company’s global environmental team, advised executive management on environmental and sustainability issues, and led the development of Stora Enso’s carbon footprint reduction program.
