eARTH TECH'S UNITED KINGDOM OPERATIONS WINS PRESTIGIOUS OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARD FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR
LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 4, 2007) – Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd., and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has been recognized by the Royal Society for the Safety and Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with the prestigious 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Gold Award for its U.K. operations.
This is the third consecutive year that Earth Tech’s U.K. operations have received a RoSPA award, following a Gold Award in 2006 and a Silver Award in 2005.
The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2007 are sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health, the U.K.’s leading health and safety examination body. The award was presented to Earth Tech at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Center on May 24, during Safety and Health Expo 2007, the U.K.’s premier health and safety and work exhibition.
The RoSPA Awards recognize Earth Tech’s zero-accident record, as well as the risk management controls and occupational health and safety management systems in place throughout the company.
