EARTH TECH TO PROVIDE SUBSURFACE ENGINEERING SERVICES AT BWI/THURGOOD MARSHALL AIRPORT
LONG BEACH, Calif. December 17, 2007 -- Earth Tech, Inc., a global provider of consulting, engineering, construction and operations services, has been selected by the Maryland Aviation Administration to provide Subsurface Utilities Engineering (SUE) and Data Development Services at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
The four-year task order contract has a value of $3.5 million.
Earth Tech’s support will help airport authorities obtain accurate geospatial information depicting underground utilities which will prevent costly construction delays, claims and accidents.

The Earth Tech team will locate, identify and map the underground utilities using electromagnetic, magnetic, sonic, and nondestructive methodologies and will provide BWI data management services that will support planning design, construction, operations and maintenance activities at one of the world’s busiest airports.
