Earth Tech was originally founded as a regionally based geotechnical firm, serving clients, such as the U.S. Department of Defense, energy companies, and public and private utility companies.

Over the next two decades, organic growth and strategic acquisitions served as the platform foundation of the company’s expansion of its service offerings and geographic presence.

With the growth of environmental awareness in the 1980s, Earth Tech evolved into one of the nation’s leaders in the environmental services market. By the 1990s, Earth Tech offered engineering, remediation, construction, contract operations and management, air quality management, water and wastewater engineering, solid waste management and transportation and infrastructure engineering services. In 1996 the company was acquired by Tyco International Ltd. and is now a key unit of the Tyco Engineered Products & Services business segment.

Today, Earth Tech provides a full suite of consulting, engineering and construction services to the transportation, facilities and water/wastewater markets, and environmental markets. Our reputation for innovative work on small and major projects continues to be the platform for our growth.
