EARTH TECH NAMES LIBBY GAWITH MANAGING DIRECTOR OF EUROPE
U.K. native to take control of Earth Tech's European operations
LONG BEACH, Calif. - February 26, 2003 - Earth Tech has named Libby Gawith as Managing Director of its European Operations. Gawith, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the U.K.-based Aquator Group Ltd., brings more than 25 years of senior executive experience to Earth Tech.
Gawith helped form the Aquator Group, the leader in the supply and operation of the submerged flat sheet membrane wastewater treatment process. At Aquator, she developed the company's business strategy and managed business opportunities in the U.K. and Ireland, as well as internationally. She was also responsible for managing the buy-out of technology from previous licensee Wessex Water, her previous employer.
"Libby's significant background in the European marketplace is crucial as Earth Tech further expands its presence in that region and looks to become a leader in the transportation, infrastructure, water/wastewater and environmental markets," said Diane C. At Wessex Water, Gawith progressed from a project engineer to managing director, engineering. Her responsibilities included developing and managing new business opportunities, overseeing the global engineering group, and directing the company's USD $180 million capital investment program.

Gawith earned a master's degree from the Executive School of Management from Bath University and a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering from Kings College. She is a native of England and will be based in the Tankersley, UK office.
