EARTH TECH AWARDED AFCEE 4P A-E CONTRACT
Contract has potential ceiling of $2.75 billion over 10 Years
LONG BEACH, Calif. - April 1, 2003 - Earth Tech has been awarded a 4P A-E services contract by the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE), Texas. This contract has an initial maximum capacity of $1.1 billion over its 10-year performance period. The contract ceiling may be adjusted to a maximum value of $2.75 billion depending on workload requirements.
This multiyear architectural and engineering contract (4P A-E) supports the four pillars of AFCEE: environmental restoration, environmental conservation and planning, environmental quality, and design and construction.
The scope of work for this contract covers a broad range of Title I, Title II and other architectural & engineering (A&E) services to support environmental and engineering programs of interest to the government worldwide. Expected work will include environmental projects including restoration, conservation, planning, compliance and pollution prevention as well as traditional A&E projects including design and construction management, housing privatization, anti-terrorism/force protection, fuel systems, military family housing and Military Construction (MILCON).

Throughout the past 18 years, Earth Tech has delivered a wide range of environmental and engineering program support to Air Force customers worldwide. This includes extensive environmental restoration program support to Edwards Air Force Base, March AFB, Norton AFB, Altus AFB, Tyndall AFB and more than 40 others. Earth Tech has completed $450 million in work under 400 delivery orders. Currently, more than 800 Earth Tech professionals from 45 offices support the AFCEE program.
Title I services are related to a specific construction project and consists of conducting field surveys and investigations to obtain design data, and preparing contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Title II are services related to a specific or proposed construction projects and consists of supervision and inspection of construction.
