EARTH TECH APPOINTS THREE NEW VICE PRESIDENTS
Major Projects Team to Pursue Infrastructure Opportunities
LONG BEACH, Calif. (November 15, 2004) – Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services, has named three vice presidents to pursue major infrastructure projects in the United States and Canada.
The following people, who have combined experience of more than 60 years, have been added to the Earth Tech team:
Pamela Murray Johnson will consolidate under one umbrella the development and delivery of K-12 school construction projects that were previously carried out by individual Earth Tech offices. She will be located in Earth Tech's Alexandria, Va., office. Murray Johnson has experience in the development and implementation of large-scale construction programs in excess of $100 million and has managed projects in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Joe Cazares will be responsible for business development of large transportation projects nationwide, including public/private programs, and design/build projects. He will be located in Earth Tech's San Diego, Calif., office. Cazares has experience in the design and construction of billion-dollar public facility and infrastructure projects. He specializes in program management assignments with complex schedules, contracts and project phases.
Lou Tortora, Jr. will be responsible for global sales and marketing for Earth Tech's water, wastewater and water resources projects. He will be located in Earth Tech's Milwaukee, Wis., office. Prior to joining Earth Tech, Tortora served as a senior vice president for Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.
The new executives report to Vladimir Khazak, Earth Tech's executive vice president responsible for major projects. They join Earth Tech executives Mike Hoff, who is responsible for new opportunities in the highways and bridges sector; Jerry Farrar, who focuses on aviation projects; and Nuria Fernandez, who continues to focus on the transit area.
