EARTH TECH APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT OF PROJECT FINANCE

LONG BEACH, Calif. (December 29, 2004) – Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd., and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services , has named Scott Derby vice president of project finance.

Derby will provide financial analysis and structure financing for Earth Tech's global water infrastructure projects. He will be located in Earth Tech's Long Beach, Calif., corporate headquarters.

Prior to joining Earth Tech, Derby served as project finance manager for International Water Ltd., a Bechtel/Edison SpA company.
