Typical analyses conducted for NEPA documentation include natural resources, cultural and historical resources, land use and socioeconomics, noise, air quality, hazardous waste, transportation, infrastructure, community facilities and cumulative impacts.

Projects executed under these contracts have ranged from straightforward assignments to unique and complex undertakings, such as the EIS for the Navy’s shipboard and submarine solid waste management worldwide, the EIS for the Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar (ROTHR) system in Puerto Rico, the EIS for Increased Flight and Other Operations at the Patuxent River Complex in MD, and the EIS and Master Plan for the Surface Action Group Homeport in Staten Island, NY. Earth Tech also developed the Navy and Marine Corps Range Information System (NMRIS), a GIS-based, secure web site for Navy and Marine Corps ranges throughout the US.
